Design an inclusive tutoring site, with special needs in mind
Fill the gap in connecting tutors directly to students, allowing them to be booked online
For this project I wanted to fill yet another gap in the market for a product that allows you to review tutors education, specialties and bios before booking an appointment with them through the app. Although similar products exist, none of them are quite as in depth, or allow you to book directly on the site.

Although the concept was simple, the app served two seperate users: students and tutors. This required designing almost like two products in one, ensuring tutors could clearly present their expertise, while students could easily discover and access that information.

Because the site contained a large amount of content, the project required an extensive design system to maintain consistency and usability. To ensure the experience worked seamlessly across devices, I decided on a mobile-first strategy.
The project also involved a significant amount of graphic design, including creating custom icons for each subject and designing the logo, which helped give the platform a cohesive and polished visual identity.

Users of all abilities can navigate this product

Gives tutors the tools to showcase their expertise, while giving students quick access to tutors info

Adresses a clear need in the tutor booking market

This project deepened my understanding of designing with empathy and intention. Managing the needs of both tutors and students, creating an extensive design system, and integrating accessibility best practices highlighted how thoughtful design decisions enhance usability for everyone. Overall, this project demonstrated how purposeful design can fill market gaps and empower users.
