Design an accessible flower delivery app that connects users with local florists
Design a platform that allows busy, working people to easily order bouquets online
This app was designed for people who love the thoughtfulness of giving flowers but don’t always have time to visit a florist. By prioritizing accessibility and mobile convenience, the experience allows users of all abilities to quickly discover, customize, and purchase bouquets from local shops.

This app was designed to give local florists their own customizable storefront within the marketplace, allowing them to showcase their catalogs, manage orders, and connect directly with customers. The goal was to give the feeling of visiting their shop while keeping the experience convenient and accessible for users.
I created a prototype in Figma and conducted user testing to evaluate navigation and usability. One key insight from testing was that the flower icon i initially used for the home button wasnt intuitive to users. Based on that feedback, I replaced it with a standard home icon. Additional feedback helped refine labeling, layout, and the browsting experience for users.

The branding for this project is playful and bright, inspired by the color and vibrancy of bouquets. I paired these tones with elegant typography to give the app a sophisticated yet approachable feel.

Designed with inclusivity in mind, the app includes high-contrast and voice response features for improved accessibility

By allowing busy people to access local florists at the press of a button, the app helps expand each shop’s reach and attract a broader audience.

Convenience for users translates into growth for florists, connecting busy people to local shops with just a tap.

This was one of my favorite projects to design, it combined my love of greenery with a real market opportunity. Creating a mobile-only, accessible experience taught me a lot about inclusive design, and I’d be the first to download this app if it existed.
